Article Publication Charges

No Charges for the Following

JGSR does not charge authors for:

• Submission Fee – No fee for manuscript submission
• Editorial Processing Charges – No charges for peer review and editorial handling
• Page Charges – No additional cost based on manuscript length (within 8–10 pages limit)
• Color Figures – No extra fee for publishing color images or figures

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

JGSR follows the Gold Open Access Model. To support publication services such as peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, website hosting, and digital archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable.

Publication Charges

• ₹1000 (for Indian Authors)
• 10 USD (for International Authors)

Payment Timing

• APC is payable only after formal acceptance of the manuscript.
• No payment is required at the time of submission or during peer review.
• A secure payment link will be sent to the corresponding author’s registered email after acceptance.

Fee Waiver Policy

JGSR may consider APC waivers or discounts in exceptional cases, particularly for:

• Authors from low-income countries
• Authors without institutional or grant funding

Requests for waivers must be made at the time of submission, along with supporting documentation.

Article Withdrawal Policy

Authors are strongly advised to submit manuscripts only when fully committed to publication in JGSR. If an author decides to withdraw a manuscript after submission and during the editorial or peer review process:

Withdrawal Conditions

• A formal request must be submitted via email to the Editor-in-Chief.
• The request must clearly state the reason for withdrawal.

Withdrawal Fee

If the manuscript has already entered peer review or completed editorial processing:

• The author must pay 40% of the applicable APC as a withdrawal fee.
• Withdrawal requests made before peer review begins may be processed without penalty at the discretion of the editorial office.
